A very strange Massachusetts law known as “Abatement” will make Aaron Hernandez’s first degree murder conviction against Odin Lloyd null and void after Hernandez was found dead in his prison cell on Tuesday. Hernandez suicide was confirmed by police on Thursday and the former New England Patriots TE will always be shrouded in infamy for his horrific actions. The law that exempts Hernandez comes because he was in the process of appeals and with no way to continue that process it is listed as “innocent until proven guilty”.
