벼랑에서 떨어진 신성록(이혁)은 노숙자들에게 발견된다. 정신 차린 신성록은 깨어나자마자 노숙자들에게 믹스커피와 휴대폰를 요구하며 비싼 물품을 건넨다. 휴대폰을 받은 신성록은 이부영(한 팀장)에게 전화한다.

'The Last Empress' is story of a musical actress Oh Ssu Ni(Jang Na Ra) who suddenly getting married with emperor Lee Hyuk(Shin Sung Rok). Oh Ssu Ni gets in a fight against absolute power of the palace, and entangled with the murder of the emperor's grandmother as she finds true love and happiness with Na Wang Sik(Choi Jin Hyuk) her way through palace life.
