"감히 황실을 망가뜨리려 하냐"는 신은경(태후 강씨)의 말에 장나라(오써니)는 "이미 썩을만큼 썩은 최악인 황실이 망가질 게 있냐"며 맞대응한다. 이에 폭력을 행하려는 신은경에게 장나라는 힘으로 밀며 나가라고 쫓아낸다.

'The Last Empress' is story of a musical actress Oh Ssu Ni(Jang Na Ra) who suddenly getting married with emperor Lee Hyuk(Shin Sung Rok). Oh Ssu Ni gets in a fight against absolute power of the palace, and entangled with the murder of the emperor's grandmother as she finds true love and happiness with Na Wang Sik(Choi Jin Hyuk) her way through palace life.
