女子200公尺自由式分組預賽成績最好的16位泳手可以晉級。被編在第二組第四線的何詩蓓在初段帶出，首150米處於領先位置，雖然最後50米被旁邊線道的國家隊泳將李冰潔趕過，但仍以1分56秒38成績第二名觸池，預賽總成績第五名晉級。
