The 21st Robocon Hong Kong was successfully completed in June this year. For the Hong Kong region, a total of 14 teams from eight tertiary institutions had competed for a place at the international competition!

The theme of this year’s competition was developed by Vietnam, the host country of ABU Robocon this year. The host country drew inspiration from its famous terraced cultivation when designing the series of robotic tasks, namely sowing, transplanting and harvesting. The focus of the competition was that one of the robots had to be fully automated. What were the levels of the robots that could be designed by our tertiary students?

The first three episodes will provide the audience with an in-depth glimpse into the institutions’ workshops where the robots were made, and reveal step by step which team could win the championship in the local competition to qualify for the ABU Robocon.
