An original and unexpected series about travelling, for the first time in television we experience the world differently. We travel around the world with Sophie Massieu, an exceptional blind journalist.
With Sophie, no trip can be seen as “ classic “. Blind since birth, she decided not to take it as a “ disease “. For her, this missing sense…is a great opportunity to discover further and meet more people.
Prestigious sites, elaborated monuments, or master pieces. Sophie cannot see them. For her, discovering, can only be done through her senses : touch, smell, taste, and hearing. From there on, Sophie proposes a unique vision, a new perspective. A perception that also brings sighted people to question their way of discovering new sites. The vision is mostly going through encounters with others.
Pongo does not go unnoticed with his imposing size and his black and white coat. However Pongo is not an ordinary pet. He has a true role along side Sophie : he is her guide, her eyes. Thanks to him, Sophie has a true independence, and can move around as fast as an sighted person.
