신은경(태후 강씨)은 최진혁(나왕식)의 동생 오한결(나동식)의 목에 약물 주사를 가져다 대며 최진혁에게 총을 내려놓으라며 협박한다. 최진혁은 자신을 제외한 다른 사람들을 풀어주는 조건으로 총을 내려논다.

'The Last Empress' is story of a musical actress Oh Ssu Ni(Jang Na Ra) who suddenly getting married with emperor Lee Hyuk(Shin Sung Rok). Oh Ssu Ni gets in a fight against absolute power of the palace, and entangled with the murder of the emperor's grandmother as she finds true love and happiness with Na Wang Sik(Choi Jin Hyuk) her way through palace life.
