BMW TwinPower Turbo technology now features multi-stage turbocharging with four turbochargers and further developed common-rail direct injection – Engine for the BMW 750d xDrive and BMW 750Ld xDrive develops maximum output of 400 hp (294 kW) and peak torque of 760 Newton metres (560 lb-ft).
The new 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line engine was developed on the basis of the BMW Group’s latest generation of power units. The new BMW 750d xDrive accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds (BMW 750Ld xDrive: 4.7 seconds) – an improvement of 0.3 seconds over its predecessor.
