The G80 BMW M3 Competition Sedan and the G82 BMW M4 Competition Coupe are powered by an in-line 6-cylinder engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and high-revving characteristics, mobilising a maximum output of 510 horsepower (375 kW) and delivering a maximum torque of 650 Nm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic. Both models accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds each.
