2025 Volvo EC40 Black Edition

The 2025 Volvo EC40, a fully electric model, boasts advanced technical features that highlight its innovative design and performance. Equipped with a second-generation permanent magnet electric motor developed in-house, the Volvo EC40 offers impressive power and efficiency. The rear-wheel-drive variant includes a 175kW motor, delivering enhanced power over previous models. Additionally, the vehicle offers a 69kWh battery capacity with improved cooling efficiency, resulting in a range of up to 460 kilometers according to the WLTP test cycle.

Further enhancements include an optional 82kWh battery pack for extended range, allowing the Volvo EC40 to achieve up to 533 kilometers. Charging efficiency has also been upgraded, with the larger battery supporting up to 200kW DC fast charging, enabling a 10-80% charge in approximately 28 minutes. The all-wheel-drive model combines a 183kW rear motor with a 117kW front motor, further enhancing performance and range. These technical improvements make the Volvo EC40 a standout in the electric vehicle market, reflecting Volvo’s commitment to electric mobility and sustainability.
