There are over a hundred of species of bees and wasps in Hong Kong. Bees and wasps provide extraordinarily important ecosystem services, pollinating plants and getting rid of pests in our city and our countryside. In this episode, we meet the hardworking, the fierce and the cunning winged beasts - and attempt to decipher their complex way of life and distinct social structures. We witness a carpenter bee diligently collecting nectar, a wasp queen building up her colony, hornets massacring honeybees, and more. We also explore how they have adapted to living in different habitats by having their unique traits.
