The BMW 4 Series Convertible (G23) and 4 Series Coupé (G22) borrow heavily from the 3 Series, rated by Euro NCAP in 2019. Some tests have been carried over from the 3 Series but, in addition, extra tests have been done to ensure that the safety is at the same 2019 5-star level.
