During the Korean War, the port city of Busan became the provisional capital for the country.
Given this history, it's possible to see in Busan to this day, buildings and other monuments that give us a glimpse into Korea's past.
To commemorate this history, Busan has submitted 8 locations, including the Provisional Capital Government Complex as tentative UNESCO cultural heritage sites.
