Cris Carter led a legendary career for the Minnesota Vikings, finishing as one of the greatest wide receivers to ever step on the field. Since his retirement, Carter has been heavily involved with NFL, whether it be broadcasting, analyzing or advising players through the NFL rookie symposium. The NFL recently deleted a video that featured Cris Carter alongside fellow hall of fame defensive end Warren Sapp instructing rookies to get a fall guy to protect their brand. He is seen bringing then first round draft pick Teddy Bridgewater on stage and asking him if he had somebody to “take care of him” in case he got in any legal troubles. The NFL continues to set the bar low for standards of conduct, when will they make a much needed 180?
