Harrison Barnes will receive a max contract, but whether or not he deserves one is the big question. Many players alongside Barnes get max contracts. NBA teams will shell out an absurd amount of money for role players, even though they will never play up to the ability of a Kevin Durant or LeBron James. Amongst the many talented players in the league, there are probably 20 players who are franchise guys that deserve the money. While Harrison Barnes had an atrocious shooting percentage in the NBA Finals, many forget that he was one of the better wings during the season.
