Henry Abbott of the ESPN affiliated True Hoops blog and ESPN the Magazine contributing writer wrote a piece that sent waves through all of sports media. The piece bashed Kobe Bryant for a list of reasons all pointing towards the demise of the Lakers last few seasons. Abbott points out that Kobe is the reason that perinial stars like LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony did not want to come to Los Angeles to play for the Lakers. Kobe recently stated that the article does not mean anything to him and understand the constant criticism you receive when you are in the type of spotlight he is constantly in.
