The Isabelo Feeding Scheme in Franschhoek, South Africa provides nutritious lunch containing all food groups to 150 children across 3 schools. These 150 children's meals are all prepared by the Le Quartier Francais team, who selflessly donate their time and expertise so that every cent donated is spent on the children.

Isabelo now funds the Kusasa Breakfast Club -- which cooks meals for and feeds over 1000 children in two schools in Franschhoek. This started with porridge every weekday morning, and the team were able to increase the nutritional value by adding an egg to their porridge 4 days of the week. They have committed to doing this until the end of 2015.

In 2013, Margot Janse, Executive Chef at Le Quartier, wanted to do more... She and a friend ran the Cape Town Marathon to raise additional funds. This money went towards the upgrading of the two schools' kitchens in which the Kusasa Breakfast Club meals are cooked.

The Isabelo Sharing is Caring project has proven to be awe-inspiring, and has surpasses expectations. The team strive to continue and grow this initiative and, with continued support, have no doubt that it will change the lives of more children than they ever imagined possible.
