The 2024 Kia EV9, a new midsize electric SUV, has earned the prestigious TOP SAFETY PICK award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). To achieve this award, the EV9 demonstrated high performance in several critical safety tests, including small overlap front, original moderate overlap front, and updated side tests. Additionally, the vehicle's pedestrian front crash prevention system and headlights received commendable ratings.
