Knicks Fans Pray to Basketball Gods In New Movie “PORZINGOD”

Kristaps Porzingis won over the faithful New York Knicks fan base just two weeks into the regular season after he dunked and blocked his way into the hearts of the self-loathing fan base. The first glimpse of hope for an otherwise underwhelming organization came at the hand of a Latvian seven footer who was also able to drain three pointers. The surge of Porzingis love has spurned a new comedic short film, starring John Leguizamo, where fellow Knicks fans pray to the basketball gods in hopes of landing a great player.
Porzingis is referred to as “The Holy No. 6” and “the messiah begotten by divine Latvian conception.’’ “It’s really for all those long-suffering Knicks fans and an homage to the team’s history,’’ Tyler Byrne told The Post. “We’ve taken it to the most ridiculous extreme.”
