There are approximately 150 individuals from Iran currently residing and thriving in Hong Kong, with students and academics making up a significant portion of this community. In this episode, we delve into the lives of two exceptional Iranian scholars pursuing their studies here.

Majan, who settled in Hong Kong at the age of 12, has shown remarkable determination in her pursuit of excellence. She has effortlessly learned to speak Cantonese, Putonghua, and English. Academically, she has achieved outstanding results, leading to her admission to HKU for cancer research. From Majan's experience, Hong Kong has proven to be a place where anyone can thrive.

Behzad, on the other hand, began his research on pediatric respiratory diseases at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2019. His outgoing and friendly character has helped him build strong friendships with locals. With the abundant resources available in Hong Kong's universities, Behzad has been able to conduct research that would have been challenging to pursue in his home country.
