This is the young guns 3rd win in a Major Tournament and it was certainly well deserved. Rory McIlroy's father, Gerry McIlory, made a bet when Rory was only 15 years of age that his son would win The British Open by the age of 25. Well, that bet resulted in a $171,000 payout, father and son were certainly celebrating.
