’비워내는 소리의 재해석’을 말하다 보컬리스트 조원선. 롤러코스터의 보컬에서 독립한 그녀가 2009년 3월, 데뷔 17년 만에 솔로 음반을 발표한다.
홀로서기에 나선 조원선의 1집 음반 ‘swallow’(스왈로우)의 타이틀곡은 ‘도레미파솔라시도’. 어린시절의 꿈, 자신이 하고 싶은 것, 좋아하는 것을 하며 살아가길 바라는 희망이 담긴 경쾌한 메시지 송으로 자전적 삶을 투영하고 있다. 음반에 수록된 10곡을 모두 작사 작곡(5곡은 롤러코스트의 기타 이상순과 공동 작곡)한 조원선의 음악 색채는 더욱 다양해지고 밀도가 넘쳐 흐른다.
