Jin Kim originally dreamed of becoming a guitarist, but the full, mighty sound of the trumpet changed his fate completely. 기타로 미국 유학을 갔다 트럼펫의 소리에 끌려 트럼펫으로 전향을 했다 오랫동안 연습과 경험을 쌓아 한국으로 돌아온 그는 다양한 연주활동으로 한국 재즈씬에서 활약을 하며 단 한 곡을 제외하곤 자작곡으로 이뤈 데뷔앨범을 올해 발표했다.
