ONSTAGE K _ Mot(못) & Perfect Dream

The band Mot has always been known for their dark yet extremely sensitive sounds and exceptional presence. They finally returned to the industry after a break of 8 years with the third album, "Ashcraft." With their ever so seasoned musicality, Mot is impressing everyone once again.
Mot was originally a duo comprised of vocalist eAeon and guitarist G.E. Impressing everyone with their wonderful music right from the beginning, the duo won Best Rookie of the Year with their first album, "Non-linier," and Best Modern Rock Album with the second album, "Strange Season," at the prestigious Korean Music Awards. However, the band went on hiatus in 2008 as eAeon had to have surgery on his vocal cords and G.E. left the team. eAeon continued to carry on the legacy of Mot and then turned his one-man band to a quintet with drummer Jo Nam-yeol, keyboardist Lee Ha-yoon, bassist Song In-seop and guitarist Yoo Woong-ryeol.
오래된 연못처럼 깊고 어두우면서 섬세한 사운드로 한국 대중음악계의 충격을 가져왔던 밴드 못(MOT)이 8년이라는 오랜 침묵을 깨고 돌아왔다. 단 두 장의 앨범만으로 대체불가능한 존재감을 각인시켰던 '못'의 컴백에 음악계는 물론 대중들의 반응도 뜨거웠다. 2인조가 아닌 5인조 풀밴드가 되어 그 어떤 기계가 만들어내는 사운드보다 정교하고 세밀해진 음악을 들려주고있는 밴드 못을 만나본다.
2004년 보컬 이이언과 기타리스트 지이로 이뤄진 2인조로 데뷔한 못. 1집 [비선형(non-linear)]과 2집 [이상한 계절]로 각각 한국대중음악상 신인상, 최우수모던록음반상을 수상하며 독보적인 존재감을 드러냈다. 하지만 2008년 보컬 이이언의 성대결절과 기타리스트 지이의 탈퇴로 활동을 중단한다. 그 이후 솔로로 활동을 시작한 이이언이 자신의 공연 세션 연주자였던 조남열(드럼), 이하윤(건반), 송인섭(건반), 유웅렬(기타)을 못(Mot)의 정규 멤버로 받아들여 5인조 풀 밴드 체제로 새롭게 재정비했다.
