Artist Biography - Oh Jae-cheol
Oh Jae-cheol is a jazz composer and trumpeter that previously studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Upon graduating, Oh released his debut album, "Time Stamping," in 2014 with a 16-member ensemble made of American performers. Oh is currently active in Korea, holding various concerts with big and small ensembles as well as delighting Korean audiences with his extraordinary musicality.

한국 재즈음악계를 이끌어갈 신성으로 평가받는 트렘페터이자 작곡가인 오재철! 그의 음악 이야기와 함께 그가 국내 최고 수준의 재즈 연주가들을 모아 만든 16인조 빅밴드의 웅장하면서도 섬세한 연주를 감상할 수 있다.

트럼페터이자 작곡가로 활동중인 오재철은 4년간의 버클리음대 유학생활을 마치고 2014년 미국 현지 연주자들로 16인조 앙상블을 이뤄 녹음한 데뷔 앨범[Time Stamping]을 발표했다. 한국으로 돌아와 국내 연주자들로 이뤄진 라지, 스몰앙상플을 결성해 활발하게 활동하고 있다.
