Manchester City smacked Liverpool at home 5-0 on Saturday and while the scoring was one major takeaway it was not the takeaway. Liverpool fell to 10 men after Sadio Mane had his spikes catch Ederson’s face in a brutal collision that very much seemed like there was no bad intent. Mane should have gone with his head, but instead had his leg way higher up than it should have been attempting to make a play on the ball.
