We took a quick 1 hour bullet train from Tokyo to Shizuoka City so we could experience their super fresh maguro (tuna). Why? Because Shimizu Port boasts the largest haul of tuna in all of Japan.
We visited Kashino-ichi Market and went to the restaurant Uoichiba Shokudo 魚市場食堂 (うおいちばしょくどう) to conquer their mountain of maguro.
