Tom Brady SUSPENSION OVERTURNED, NFL Will Appeal Ruling

From January 18, 2015 (AFC Championship game between the Colts and Patriots) to today, the Patriots, Tom Brady and Deflategate dominated the headlines. Tom Brady’s four game suspension for allegedly tampering with the footballs during the aforementioned AFC Championship game was overturned by Judge Richard Berman after ruling that one cannot be suspended for having “general awareness” that would subject him to punishment (Huffington Post Sports). The NFL will appeal the ruling and the Deflategate saga will continue, although unlikely Brady will face any sort of suspension. Brady is eligible to start Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 10.
