Today we experience traditional Korean painting and calligraphy with artist Kwak Ja Ae (곽자애)! I found it very relaxing to watch her make each brush stroke. She demonstrates how to paint various flowers and plants, including chrysanthemum, plum blossom, and bamboo. I try to mimic her work and end up buying my own set of ink, paper and brush.
