The government has been committed to the promotion of new industrialisation. In support of the “new industrialisation” vision advocated in the Hong Kong I&T Development Blueprint, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks actively provides cutting-edge equipment and infrastructure to steer the industrial sector towards the path of innofacturing.

Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Professor Sun Dong, recently visited the MARS Centre at Tai Po InnoPark to learn about the latest local developments in new industrialisation. He pointed out that the government will continue to ramp up its efforts in supporting this movement, so that both traditional and emerging industries alike can embark on the journey of new industrialisation.
