Being one of the oldest nations on Earth, France has broad and deep influences in different aspects of culture throughout history. The residence of the French Consul General in Hong Kong is almost an art exhibition hall in itself. Consul General Christile Drulhe will guides us in exploring French contemporary arts and perfume-making in her residence.

Something not many people may know is that Hong Kong has been one of France’s major jewellery importers for decades. The consul general will also be a one-day apprentices with our presenter, Chris, at a local goldsmith workshop.

The cultural exchange between Hong Kong and France is not limited to arts. French biological scientists Benoit, has been conducting research in Hong Kong for more than 10 years and contributed to archiving the city’s natural history.
