한예슬(지수현)은 자신을 불쑥 찾아온 제보인으로부터 홍 회장과 자신이 좋아하던 여배우 장주현에 대한 폭로기사를 써달라는 요청을 받는다. 이에 한예슬은 초반에 도울 생각을 하지 않는다. 그러다가 갑자기 자신들의 차를 쫓는 이들이 나타나자, 제보인은 한예슬을 내려준다. 곧이어 제보인의 차가 뒤집어지고 목숨을 잃자 한예슬은 충격을 받는다.
