‪TECHNICAL FOUL?!?‬ Xbox One Hate - NBA 2K14

The Xbox One hit stores a few weeks ago to much craze and little criticism. That is until we saw YouTuber RandomFrankP's video where he curses while playing NBA 2K14 in his home. The result was a puzzling technical foul for foul language. The Xbox One and Kinect also have the ability to penalize the player for crude gestures, i.e. flipping the bird. Is this right of Xbox to punish their audience when using swear words or is it a smart strategy?
