為美國所有家庭帶來電力之後，革命性發明家尼古拉．特斯拉有更大的夢想。他希望研究出一種防禦技術，可以令戰爭變成不可能的事。1937年，他宣布計劃製造叫「死光」的粒子束武器。正當這件武器將在第二次世界大戰派上用場之時，特斯拉被發現死於曼哈頓的酒店中。他的夾萬有被搜掠過的痕跡，文件亦告失蹤。時至今日，尼古拉．特斯拉的死仍然是個謎，到底是否有人想奪得這件有史以來威力最強大的武器，而將他殺死呢？

After bringing electricity to the home of every American, visionary inventor Nikola Tesla dreams even bigger. He wants to make defence technology so advanced that war becomes impossible. In 1937, he announces plans for just such a weapon – a particle beam known as the ‘Death Ray’. But in the midst of World War II, just as his weapon is most needed, Tesla’s found dead in his Manhattan Hotel. His safe is raided and papers go missing, igniting a mystery that sustains to this day. Was Nikola Tesla killed to obtain the secret plans to the most devastating weapon ever devised?
