《歷史二三事 - 嘉莉公公打仗的日子》預告片

曾獲奧斯卡金像獎最佳女主角提名的嘉莉·慕萊根，她的外公丹素·布斯是一位在英國威爾斯山谷長大的年輕人。在二戰最後幾個月，他與英國最大型的戰艦在海上航行了七千英里，出征到日本對抗日軍。嘉莉發現外公在大學修讀的科目令他能在短時間內成為海軍初級軍官。丹素身處在戰艦上，受到神風突擊隊首次攻擊，失去了最好的朋友。嘉莉到了日本，從另一個角度了解神風突擊隊，當她了解到神風飛行員有多年輕，以及為外公抵達東京後所面對的一切，感到非常震驚。

Carey Mulligan’s grandfather Denzil Booth, a teenager from the Welsh Valleys, travelled thousands of miles to fight the Japanese in the final months of the war. Carey discovers his university education meant Denzil was fast-tracked to be a junior officer in the Navy.
On board Britain’s biggest warship Denzil lost his closest friends, as it was the first ever to be attacked by a Japanese Kamikaze. Carey travels to Japan to understand the culture of the Kamikaze from the other side. She’s shocked by the age of the pilots and the horrors her grandfather faced when he arrived in Tokyo.
