For the Artist Drawing Club series, Nick Dong explored the patterns and the ways in which they come together to form culture and create a visual language to transmit ideas. Reflecting on the exhibition "Emperors’ Treasures: Chinese Art from the National Palace Museum, Taipei," Dong created an immersive, interactive installation of a “circular sky” and a “square earth," invoking ancient Chinese iconography of heaven and earth.
