教育局於去年向每間小學撥款十萬元，推行STEM 教育，即是科學、科技、工程和數學，培訓學生的邏輯思維及解難能力。有學校專開設了STEM 一科，而大部份學校則融入常識及電腦科，透過手作活動讓學生掌握相關能力。然而，前線老師對如何評估STEM 教育感到疑惑。
個別中、小學生早已對科研有興趣，並參與國際賽事，希望成為「星之子」。然而，在擇星的路上，往往忽略了ART的培訓，溝通及表達能力有待改進。
