줄거리 : 지순이라는 한 근면한 부인이 게으르고 가난한 마을에 도착한다. 그녀가 남편 영두의 집안이 관습적으로 재래의 결혼의식을 행하는 것을 보고 결혼의식을 없애라고 설득하면서부터 집안이 번창하기 시작한다. 그녀는 또 마을의 아낙들을 모아서 재래의 관습을 개혁해야 할 필요성을 역설한다. 그녀의 생각은 곧 실행으로 옮겨지고 마을은 차차 변화하게 된다. 아내들의 힘찬 행진이 밝은 미래를 향해 계속되고 있는 것이다.

SYNOPSIS : A hard-working lady arrives at a lazy and poor village. As she witnesses her husband's family customarily hold old style wedding ceremony, she persuades them to remove the out-out-of-date forms. Since then the family starts to be prosperous. She also organizes a meeting of village women to convince them why they should improve conventional customs. As soon as her idea converts into practice, the village gradually changes. The vigorous parade of wives is on the move to the bright future.
