사실 이 곡은 제 친구의 이야기인데요. 친구가 헤어지고 나서 헤어짐의 이유를 모르고 있더라고요.
참 신기하지 않나요. 이별의 이유를 모른다는 게
이유가 있는 헤어짐보다 이유가 없는 헤어짐은 마지막까지도 숙제를 남겨주는 기분인 것 같아요.
이 곡은 이별에 있어 끝까지 이유를 찾는 사람들에게 '조금의 위안이라도 되면 좋겠다'라는 생각으로 써보았어요.
이별엔 반드시 이유가 있으니까요.
