The Toronto Raptors have been labeled a first half of the season team over the past few seasons, and suffered from a similar experience to the Los Angeles Clippers in terms of making a run in the playoffs. This season is different for the north, as point guard Kyle Lowry is playing the best basketball of his career, and DeMar DeRozan rounds out one of the league’s best backcourts. Currently, the Raptors are at 6-1 odds to make the NBA Finals, and sit in second place in the Eastern Conference with the playoffs around the corner. The East has been better than last season, and the Raptors could face tough matchups against the Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks or the Cleveland Cavaliers.
