The 2013 Targa Tasmania Tour was the perfect way to introduce the new Cayman into the Australian market. As with all Porsches, the Cayman exuded performance not only on the road tour but also at the Symmons Plains track as the Porsche team 'warm the tyres' in preparation for the Tasmanian driving tour ahead.
This ultimate driving experience included six days of driving on magnificent Tasmanian roads including many of the most famous closed-road Targa stages in which the Cayman continued to captivate the drivers. Porsche Cars Australia Marketing and Motorsport Director, Kevin Nicholls, had a difficult time deciding between the PDK and manual variants of the new Cayman....nobody's perfect.
Watch this video to see how the new Cayman held its cool during the twists and turns of the 2013 Porsche Targa Tasmania Tour.
*Combined fuel consumption in accordance with EU 5: Cayman models: 8.8 - 7.7 l/100km, CO2 emission: 206 -180 g/km
