The offseason does not prove to be downtime for New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who has recently wheeled and dealed a few major players through trades. Chandler Jones (DE) was traded the Arizona Cardinals for Jonathan Cooper (G) and a second round draft pick. The Patriots also picked up Chris Long, which will drastically stabilize their weak offensive line from last season. Chandler Jones was likely to become a free agent at the end of next season, and would have looked for a big time money from New England, instead, Belichick dealt the pro bowl defensive end, improved his line, added a draft pick and saved the team money. Belichick has been behind some of the Patriots best moves in the offseason, which is truly no surprise seeing how successful they have been under the Belichick-Brady duo.
