The trash talking Jones made sure to get his fair share of words in for months before the fight, and backed up his talk by unanimously beating Cormier to retain his light heavyweight title. Jon Jones and his spectacular resume are being considered the best pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC, and possibly of all time. Daniel Cormier was no joke, and up until his loss against Jones, Cormier did not surrender an opening round loss. Cormier was simply outmatched.
