UFC 199 was headlined with a Michael Bisping first round knockout of Luke Rockhold to claim the championship belt, however, the biggest news of the event came from Ariel Helwani, who broke the story that Brock Lesnar would be rejoining the UFC for one night, UFC 200. The trailer for UFC 200 had the eyes of every fan, but it wasn’t until the very end where Lesnar’s face appeared, sending the crowd into mayhem. Helwani, on the other hand, was dismissed by Dana White after the story broke, and got his credential pulled as well as a “lifetime ban” from the UFC. The MMAFighting.com and former Fox Sports UFC reporter was simply doing his job, breaking stories, but White and Lorenzo Fertitta appeared to think otherwise.
