The Denver Broncos defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-16 in the AFC Divisional playoff game on Sunday. The Broncos were led by, surprisingly, the leg of Brandon McManus, who was a perfect 5-of-5 on field goals. The Broncos defense pressured a hobbled Ben Roethlisberger, and forced the Steelers to run the ball. Fitzgerald Toussaint, Pittsburgh’s third string running back, coughed up the ball in the fourth quarter, setting up the go ahead C.J. Anderson 1-yard TD run. Peyton Manning is stills struggling to throw the ball downfield, and his accuracy was in question for parts of the game, regardless, Manning has the league’s best defense behind him and it sets up another classic between him and Brady for a trip to the Super Bowl.
