PSG defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in the first leg of the Round of 16 Champions League stage. PSG dominated possession during the first half, but after Zlatan Ibrahimovic drilled a low free-kick goal in the 38’, Chelsea scored on a corner in the 45+1’ on the foot of Obi Mikel. The second half was saw Edinson Cavani net a goal in the 78’, which was all PSG needed to come away from Stamford Bridge with an important Champions League win.
Benfica met Zenit for the other Champions League match today, and Jonas’ 90+1’ goal for Benfica resulted in a home win.
