Chris Weidman’s fight against Gegard Mousasi was stopped and awarded to Mousasi after the ref and doctors claimed that Weidman was “unfit” to continue. Weidman appealed the result on Monday, and the most likely outcome will be a rematch between the two. in the main event, Daniel Cormier retained his title against Anthony Johnson, and Johnson promptly retired from the UFC following the loss.
