The Grecotel Riviera Olympia, Greece recently hosted their Dance Festival 2017. A week of thematic classes by thirteen top Greek & International professionals and a closing party to showcase the dancers moves.

Guests revelled in the unique ambience of the amazing resort set on a 500-acre wooded estate along two kilometres of sandy beach lapped by the Ionian Sea. Learning new dances or perfecting their steps in master classes offered in Latin international, Ballroom, salsa, street Latin, hip-hop and r&b, oriental, jazz funk, contemporary, and tango Argentino.

Starting with a sultry salsa at sunset and end with a barefoot tango dip on the beach at dawn. Guests to dance the night away after learning all the moves at the Riviera Olympia Dance Festival. In 2018 you could be on the ballroom floor where the resort organizes thematic classes by thirteen top Greek & International professional dancers in ten styles, from the bachata to the waltz, from beginners to master class. Surrender to the music and express yourself through movement and indulge your favourite Hollywood musical fantasies, whether a flowing style of Fred Astaire or the edgier jazz dance and hip-hop styles of Fame. They can’t guarantee that you’ll be ready for Broadway, but the resort can promise you’ll have fun.

The Riviera Olympia is the perfect backdrop for a dance festival, with its Hollywood-set ambience. The programme combines classes with themed evenings inspired by the history and origin of dances—and, of course, cinema! Latin, jazz, Oriental, with drinks and food to match the mood.
