- 두 손 두 발 다 들다 (to raise your both hands and both feet) = to give up on someone
- 병 주고 약 주다 (to give a disease and then give medicine) = to say something hurtful and then say something nice to cover it up
- 가방 끈이 짧다 (the strap of someone's bag is short) = to not have higher education
