과거 조선인 주거지였던 연해주 라조지역에서 1년 6개월여간 잠복, 암수 호랑이 두마리를 찍는데 성공했다. 교미철을 맞은 암수 호랑이의 구애모습과 물먹는 모습 등이 담겨있고, 먹이를 구하지 못한 호랑이들이 죽은 고기를 먹는 안타까운 모습도 생생하게 보여준다.
